A shared self-service terminal for checking tools in and out using cards, QR codes, or PIN codes. See the Kiosk module page for an overview of the feature.
Login modes​
Scan mode (default when a scanner is installed)​
- On a computer: a text input field receives data from a barcode/QR scanner. Press Enter after scanning.
- On the mobile app: a "Scan QR" button opens the camera.
- A result box shows the login status: blue (checking), green (success), or red (error).
ID code mode (manual entry)​
A numeric keypad (0-9) with a PIN-style display. The system auto-submits when the correct number of digits is entered.
PIN entry​
After scanning a card, you may be asked for a PIN:

Admin settings​
When a company admin is logged in, a settings card appears below the login area:
- Require PIN for all users — company-wide toggle
- Enable kiosk / Disable kiosk (on this machine and browser) — enable/disable kiosk mode for this browser
- Scanner installed — toggle between scanner input and manual keypad (web only)
- Length, PIN — 4, 5, or 6 digits
- Length, ID code (manual) — for manual entry
These settings are stored in the browser's local storage and apply per-device.
