Booking
The Booking module adds a tool reservation system, letting users book tools in advance so they can plan their work without worrying about availability.
What it does​
Reserve tools in advance​
When Booking is enabled, a Reservations tab appears on each individual tool's detail page. From there, users can:
- View upcoming reservations — see who has booked the tool and when
- Create new bookings via a calendar interface that shows 365 days into the future
- Cancel your own bookings by tapping on them
- Admins can cancel any booking with a confirmation prompt
Booking modes​
Each tool can be configured with one of three booking modes in the tool editor:

| Whole Days | One slot per day |
This lets you match the booking granularity to how the tool is actually used.
Color-coded calendar​
The booking calendar uses color coding to make it easy to see availability at a glance:
- Your bookings are highlighted in one color
- Other people's bookings are highlighted in a different color
- Available slots are clearly visible
Works with individual tools only​
Booking is available for individual (non-stock) tools. Consumable and pool-type stock tools do not support reservations since they are managed by quantity rather than individual assignment.
Where you see it in the app​
- Company Settings → Optional Modules → Booking toggle
- Tool detail page → Reservations tab (alongside Placement and Notes tabs)
- Tool editor → Booking mode selector (Normal / Day-Night / Whole Days)
- Company statistics → Booking count in the last 6 months
How to activate​
Go to Company Settings and scroll down to Optional Modules. Toggle on Booking, then save. The Reservations tab will appear on all individual tool detail pages, and the booking mode selector will appear in the tool editor.
Pricing​
The price is shown next to the toggle in Company Settings. It is free on the Free plan.
