Report
The Report module enables company-wide inventory counting, a periodic log export, internal usage invoices, and report distribution. It gives administrators the tools to conduct periodic stock-takes and track tool usage and cost.
What it does
Inventory counting (Varetelling)
The main feature of this module is the ability to run a company-wide inventory count:
- Start a count from the Inventory page — set the number of days the count should run and an optional message for your team
- Track progress in real-time — see how many tools have been counted vs. the total, with a percentage indicator
- Visual indicators appear in warehouse tool lists showing which tools still need to be counted (small dot next to uncounted tools)
- Filter by recount status — a filter button appears in the warehouse and tool list views so you can quickly find tools that haven't been counted yet
- Stop the count at any time or let it run until the configured end date
Log export report
When enabled, two email fields become available in Company Settings:
- Report email — the email address where the periodic log export is sent
- Internal invoice email — email address for internal usage invoices
The log export is a periodic report (Excel workbook plus CSV files) mailed to the addresses in Report email, covering:
- Event log — every take, give, place and unplace event in the period
- Stock — consumption and restocking of consumable (stockKeep) tools
- Distributed items — movement of shared/pooled stock (stockKeepGlobal) between users and warehouses
- Individual items — take/give and place/unplace history for single-instance tools
Each of these includes a per-holder rental cost calculation (rental price multiplied by time or quantity, depending on tool type). Text, dates and stock units (e.g. "pcs") in the report are localized to the recipient company's language rather than always showing the raw value.
Internal usage invoices
When Internal invoice email is set, each order number/order mark used on tools gets its own periodic invoice covering the rental cost of everything checked out under that mark, sent as message text, a PDF attachment and a spreadsheet attachment.
Cost is calculated from how long each tool was checked out during the period. For a tool still checked out at the end of the period, the invoice resolves who was holding it at that moment — rather than relying on whichever "current holder" is live at the time the invoice is generated — and checks all of the company's warehouses, not just the tool's single home warehouse, when deciding whether it's still out. If a tool's rental price can't be resolved, the line is flagged rather than silently treated as free.
Recount in stock tools
For stock/pool tools, the recount button also appears in the warehouse selector modal, letting you mark individual stock locations as counted.
