A daily nudge to return a tool that's overdue.

How to enable

Set a Return date on the tool when handing it out (or configure a company-wide default under Company Settings → Standard rental duration, in days — leave it empty to disable the automatic default and only remind on tools with an explicit return date). No module is required.

Purpose

Reduces tools quietly overstaying past their expected return date by reminding the holder every day until it's back.

Who receives it, and when

Sent to the tool's current holder every weekday morning for as long as the tool's return date is in the past — unless the holder already has a booking for that tool starting today, in which case the reminder is skipped for that day.

Notification content

Names the overdue tool and links to it so the holder can act immediately.
