Announces a company-wide stocktake to everyone, then reports the results to admins once it ends.

How to enable​

Requires the Reporting module. An admin starts a count from the Inventory page. No individual toggle — starting and ending a count is what triggers these notifications.

Purpose​

Makes sure everyone knows a stocktake is underway (so they actually mark tools as counted), and gives admins a record of the outcome once it's done.

Who receives it, and when​

  • Inventory count started — a push notification to every user in the company, sent the moment an admin starts the count.
  • Inventory results report — an email to company admins, sent when the count ends (either an admin ends it manually, or it reaches its scheduled end date).

Notification content​

The start notification includes the admin's optional message entered when starting the count. The results report is an email with the count outcome attached as both a CSV and an Excel workbook, listing each tool's counted status, who counted it, and its stock before/after where applicable.
