A weekly heads-up about tools that need attention soon — calibration, servicing, inspection, or anything else you've scheduled.

How to enable

Set a Next attention date (with an optional custom label, e.g. "Next calibration") on a tool from the Edit Tool page. On by default for admins; an admin can opt out under Settings → Notifications tab → Tool Reminder Reports (see Notification Preferences). No module is required.

Purpose

Makes sure scheduled maintenance doesn't get forgotten by surfacing it a week ahead of time, in one combined list instead of relying on someone to check every tool individually.

Who receives it, and when

Sent every Monday morning to company admins who haven't opted out, listing every tool whose attention date falls within the coming week. It's a one-time notice per due date — set a new attention date on the tool once the work is done to be reminded again.

Notification content

An HTML table listing each due tool's name (linked to the tool), the due date, the reminder label/reason, and any notes.
