Tool Handed To You

Confirms that a tool has been handed to you, so you know it's now on your list even if you weren't the one who scanned it.

How to enable

Turn on Push on receive under Settings → Notifications tab (see Notification Preferences). If it's off, you won't get this notification at all — there's no fallback. No module is required.

Purpose

Confirms a handover so the receiving user immediately knows what was given to them, without having to open the app and check their tool list.

Who receives it, and when

Sent to the user a tool is given to, at the moment a "give" action is logged for that tool (whoever performs the handover — themself or someone else on their behalf).

Notification content

Names the tool that was handed over and links directly to it.
